Attending an On-Line Class
Details to know if attending an On-Line Class
- EPTAC's scheduled on-line classes start at 10 AM EST (Eastern Standard Time)
- Lecture is conducted live via Zoom by an EPTAC Master Instructor.
- You MUST have a camera and microphone on the computer being used to attend both the lecture and exams.
- If your class is for certification to an IPC standard, ensure you have purchased and received your HARDCOPY of the IPC Standard before class.
- IPC Designer (CID and CID+) course materials are included with your enrollment and are shipped to you to study weeks before class.
- IPC exams must be completed on-line via IPC's Remote Lockdown Browser.
- You MUST have Administrative privileges to install the IPC Lockdown Browser.
- The Zoom lecture and IPC exams DO NOT need to be completed on the same computer.
i.e. You can attend the Zoom lecture from your work computer and then take the exams from your home computer if your work computer has restrictions preventing you from installing the lockdown browser.
- Only lecture and IPC written exams can be completed on-line. If obtaining a J-STD-001 or IPC-7711/7721 Certification, your workmanship must be scheduled to be completed in person with an EPTAC Instructor.
